Days Lift Technician – Gatwick Airport

Job Opportunity: Lift Technician (Regional) – London Gatwick Airport

What We Expect

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lift Technician to join our new team at London Gatwick Airport, responsible for servicing and maintaining our clients' elevators across the airport.

Please note: Gatwick Airport operates 24/7/365, so this is a shift role (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) on a 4-on, 4-off basis.

Responsibilities

As a Regional Technician, your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Conducting fault finding and technical assessments
  • Providing technical support across the region (working collaboratively with engineers)
  • Servicing and maintaining elevator parts
  • Repairing or replacing faulty lift components

Who We Are Looking For

Requirements

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with:

  • NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
  • A full UK Driving License
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proactive attitude, open to change
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Commitment to personal professional development
  • Deep respect for health and safety (H&S) regulations
