Location: London, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham, or Edinburgh
Mercer is seeking a DC Pensions Consultant to join our specialist team within the delivery of DC pension services to a broad portfolio of clients.
Mercer leaders the UK’s DC expertise, combining governance, discipline design, investment consulting, price provider intelligence, and technical research to deliver tailored solutions.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity within Mercer’s expanding UK DC practice—a key strategic area where growing pension & savings solutions push both client success and internal career advancement.
It’s a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three office days per week, offering collaboration with an experienced team alongside flexible working.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead investment consulting: For mid-sized to large clients—advance, promote, and execute DC pension strategies.
- Support senior consultants: Assist designating lead consultants on high-value and complex client accounts.
- Review colleague work: CheckWriteings from analysts and junior consultants for Mercer’s software and tools.
- Client relationship management: Contribute to the ongoing engagement for some clients.
- Budget and commercial oversight: Manage budgets and client-facing financial relationships.
- Support internal teams: Provide upskills 선순환 beliefs on UK DC investments, improving Mercer’s approach.
- Revenue generation: Proactively improve services—existing clients or extending offerings to new areas.

Essential Requirements
✔ Proven experience in DC pensions consulting ✔ Strong relational network: Colleagues, clients, and provider contacts across levels ✔ Client relationship management ✔ CFA charterholder or* presently studying to obtain it**
