Eligibility

To Be Eligible For This Scholarship, Applicants Must:

  • Geographic Reference
    • Nationality: Be a citizen of one of the following countries: Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, or Vietnam.
    • New Student Status: Be a new student starting a course at Deakin University any time up until Trimester 3, 2026.
    • Course Requirements: Meet the entry requirements for the chosen course, including English language proficiency.
    • Academic Record: Maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 65% each year if reapplying, with at least 8 credit points remaining in your course.
    • Program Specificity: Be enrolled in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program within the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Built Environment (SEBE).
