About the Role
The Deal Hub Bid Manager will serve as a single point of contact for Sales, providing timely, responsive, high-quality feedback and guidance on proposal business term change requests requiring approval from Corporate Pricing, Contracts, or Financial Services. This role bridges multiple internal areas (Sales, client requirements, Pricing, Product, Legal) to evaluate requests against company standards, ensuring compliance and execution within set timeframes.
Responsibilities
- Resolve and propose options across Bid Manager empowerments in:
- Product
- Pricing
- Contracts
- Finance
- Engage Subject Matter Experts where necessary, securing approvals from:
- Pricing
- Contracts
- Financial Services
- Minimize functional handoffs to ensure requests are completed by deadline and distribute final approvals internally.
- Act as a single point of contact for SMEs, coordinating resolution of complex issues with clarity and additional information.
- Manage approval workflows, monitor request status accuracy, and track completion.
- Provide feedback to management to continuously improve Deal Hub processes.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience with 7 to 10 years in:
- Sales
- Contracts
- Finance
Skills & Competencies
- Strong track record of:
- Building cross-functional relationships based on value-add service.
- Navigating multi-site business organizations.
- Excellent:
- Oral and written communication (conveying complex requests clearly, concisely, and timely).
- Summarization skills for subject matter experts.
- Leadership, teamwork, and influence.
- Ability to:
- Apply active listening to understand Sales needs.
- Operate with structured time management and organizational excellence.
