About the Role:
The Deal Hub Bid Manager will serve as the single point of contact for Sales, ensuring timely, responsive, and high-quality feedback for proposal business term change requests requiring approval(s) from Corporate Pricing, Contracts, or Financial Services. You’ll need to understand multiple internal functions, align Sales and client requirements, evaluate requests against standards, and enforce compliance with Pricing, Product, and Legal policies.
What You’ll Do
- Resolve and provide options within Bid Manager empowerments across multiple areas (product, pricing, contracts, finance)
- Identify and engage appropriate internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), securing all required approvals from relevant departments (Pricing, Contracts, Financial Services)
- Minimise functional handoffs, ensure uncertainty is resolved by set deadlines, and distribute final approvals internally
- Act as the single point of contact for SMEs, coordinating complex issue resolutions while providing supplementary information as necessary
- Manage approval workflows, verifying request accuracy and completion status, while offering feedback for continuous Deal Hub process improvement
What You’ll Need
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Experience: 7–10 years in sales, contracts, or finance-related roles
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to build strong relationships based on high-value service; ability to interface with multi-site, complex business organisations
- Communication Skills:
- Exceptional oral and written communication
- Ability to clearly convey complex requests in a structured, timely manner
- Development of concise summaries for Subject Matter Experts
- Leadership & Teamwork:
- Exceptional leadership and teamwork capabilities
- Demonstrated active listening to understand Sales needs
- Time & Organisation:
- Well-defined time management and organisational skills
- Structured methodology-oriented approach for delivering results
