Miryco Consultants are working with a leading pension specialist/investment management firm to find a Deal Review Operations specialist to join their team. This role is perfect for a candidate with Investment Banking experience looking to join a high calibre firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Review new transactions from an operational readiness, execution, and control perspective
  • Assess operational risks, handoffs, dependencies, and post-deal implementation requirements
  • Ensure transactions comply with internal policies, approval frameworks, and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate across Investment, Legal, Risk, Actuarial, Finance, and Operations teams on live deals
  • Support deal governance and approval forums with clear, structured documentation
  • Track approvals, conditions precedent, and operational actions through to completion
  • Maintain oversight of post-deal onboarding, data flows, and control ownership
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of deal review processes and operating procedures

Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or a deal-driven operations role
  • Strong academic background from a leading university (e.g. finance, economics, engineering, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of transaction lifecycles, operational controls, and execution risk
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
  • Clear communicator, able to work effectively with senior stakeholders and challenge where appropriate
