Do you thrive in a leadership role where your decisions directly influence portfolio performance, business strategy, and customer outcomes?
At MotoNovo Finance, we're looking for a Dealer Funding Credit Manager to lead our first-line Dealer Funding Credit team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our wholesale lending portfolio.

You'll lead a team of credit specialists, oversee lending decisions, influence risk appetite, and provide strategic insight to senior forums across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a high-performing team responsible for new lending decisions, annual reviews, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Holding a senior lending mandate and providing guidance on complex or high-value credit decisions.
- Producing and presenting portfolio insight and risk reporting to senior stakeholders, including SLT forums.
- Acting as the Dealer Funding product expert, helping shape future product development and risk strategy.
- Partnering closely with Distribution to support growth opportunities while maintaining a strong risk culture.
- Working alongside second-line risk teams to ensure robust governance, controls, and risk management frameworks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
