Role – Dealer Manager

Location – North of England
Industry – Material Handling
Package – £55k-£60k + Bonus & Company Car + Private Healthcare

Alexander James Recruiting is seeking a Dealer Manager for our client in the material handling industry to work in a field based role across the North of England. With a strong package this is a great opportunity for an either a material handling professional or an individual who has worked with another dealer network seeking a rewarding and challenging role.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop relationships with material handling dealers across the North of England
  • Assist the forklift dealer’s with their business plans and strategies to include quotation, pricing and technical support for forklift products
  • Coordinate, report and monitor marketing and sales support for the network
  • Visit dealer site’s to assist with requirements and continue to develop dealer relationships
  • Attend trade shows, customer events, and OEM marketing campaigns as a brand ambassador

Requirements

You will ideally be an experienced professional from within the material handling sector and have experience of working with an existing dealer network. Individuals from motive power/batteries, cleaning equipment or forklift attachments may be considered in this regard. The company would also consider individuals from a different industry provided they have experience in a similar role with a dealer network or material handling professionals from different backgrounds. Crucially, you must be a highly commercial individual and have the appreciation and understanding that this is a strategic role which requires the successful individual to build detailed business plans and develop strong dealer relationships. In terms of location you must be based in the Midlands or North of England with travel required across these two regions.
