About the Role

We are looking for a Dealer Payments Analyst to join our Operations team at BYD UK. Based at our state-of-the-art headquarters in Uxbridge, West London, you will play a critical role in ensuring our retailer partners receive an exceptional payment service, supporting smooth business operations and delivering the high standards of service that define the BYD brand.
You'll manage dealer payment activities across multiple business areas, working closely with Finance, Sales, and our retail network to ensure payments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. As BYD continues its rapid expansion across the UK and Europe, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business at the forefront of the transition to zero-emission transportation and contribute to our continued success.
What You'll Do
As Dealer Payments Coordinator, you will:
- Manage the end-to-end dealer payment process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across multiple business areas.
- Act as the primary point of contact for retailers on all payment-related matters, providing timely support and resolving queries professionally.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies to ensure seamless transactions and positive retailer relationships.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Sales, and other internal teams to improve payment processes and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate payment records and ensure data integrity in line with company policies and audit requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce errors, and enhance the overall dealer payment experience.
- Produce reports and support operational activities as required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties in line with the needs of the business.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong working relationships.
You'll bring:
- At least 5 years' experience in a dealer payments, finance, accounts, or similar operational role within an OEM, dealer group, fleet, leasing, or rental environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work closely with both internal teams and external retail partners.
- A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach to processes and service delivery.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a collaborative team.
- Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures.
- Process employee travel expenses and explain reimbursement routines.
- Match invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoices.
- Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy.
- Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence as required.
- Assist with end of year preparation and procedures.
- Help to develop and test new finance products, procedures and tools.
- Support Finance department team members with other tasks.
- Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.
- Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct.
- Answers questions and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers and clients as needed.
- Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
