Do you have a background in customer service, looking for a role offering development and progression? This is your chance to grow within the automotive finance industry as a Dealer Services Agent, supporting dealer teams and helping determine credit decisions that keep vehicles moving. In the Dealer Services Agent role, you will bring structure to complex applications, communicate clearly with key stakeholders, and contribute to safer, smarter lending decisions within a compliance-led environment.
What You Will Do
- Make accurate credit assessments for both personal and commercial lending, reviewing financial statements, credit reports, business plans, and relevant industry information.
- Deliver sound lending decisions in line with this company’s credit policy, risk appetite, and regulatory guidelines.
- Resolve dealer queries on credit applications, processes, and policies via phone and email.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, operations, and collections, and share underwriting decisions clearly with external partners.
- Ensure every underwriting activity meets legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.
- Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas to strengthen underwriting processes and policies.

What You Will Bring
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced contact centre environment.
- A strong interest in finance, credit underwriting, and financial analysis.
- Confidence working with financial information, including P and L, balance sheets, cash flow, and key ratios.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret information quickly and accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make reasoned decisions under pressure.
- Clear communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in a straightforward way to different audiences.

Location:
Based in Manchester, the role will involve hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week on site, with flexibility on required office days. During the initial training period, the role will be fully based on site.
