Position Overview
As part of the exciting growth of CHERY, OMODA, and JAECOO in the UK, we are seeking a Dealer Training Specialist who is based in Scotland to support and enhance sales performance across our dealer network. This field-based role is crucial in ensuring that our sales teams are well-equipped to deliver an exceptional customer experience, maintain high CSI scores, and exceed performance expectations.

You will work closely with the Retailer Training Manager and the Regional Sales Managers to deliver high-impact training and identify evolving training needs across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with the design and delivery of a comprehensive new starter training suite; conduct on-site induction training for existing and newly appointed dealerships
- Deliver both face-to-face and virtual classroom training as part of the sales accreditation pathway
- Provide engaging and informative training during new product launch events
- Support the creation of engaging and effective training content in collaboration with the Retailer Training Manager, including eLearning modules and classroom materials
- Provide intensive on-site training on the sales process, customer experience, and mystery shop performance to focus sites across the UK
- Deliver bespoke, ad-hoc training – both in person and online – to support evolving business objectives (e.g., app enrolment or process rollouts)
- Work closely with the Retailer Training Manager and Regional Sales Managers to identify underperforming or new focus retailers and develop tailored training interventions
- Participate in special projects and training initiatives as required by the business

Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales training within the automotive industry (OEM or retail side)
- Strong understanding of automotive retail operations, including sales processes and customer satisfaction metrics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of learning styles
- Ability to travel extensively across the UK (field-based role, approx. 3-4 days per week on the road)
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider training and field team
- Confident using digital learning platforms and content creation tools (e.g., LMS, Articulate, MS Office)
- A full UK driving license is essential
