Location: This role could be based out of any of our PwC offices in Australia

What you’ll do:

  • Understand each client’s unique challenges to deliver tailored, actionable insights
  • Produce high-quality financial reports and data-driven analysis that enable smarter business decisions
  • Support clients in making value-driven business decisions by providing commercial insights, technical expertise and providing rigorous, well-reasoned analysis
  • Conduct financial investigations and prepare comprehensive reports advising on business purchases, sales, mergers and capital financing
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial data within
  • Embrace and integrate emerging technologies and innovative tools to enhance client engagements and continuously develop your digital expertise
  • Strengthen your brand within Deals by leveraging PwC’s broad service offerings and contributing to sector research thought leadership
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience and solid financial technical skills gained in consulting, advisory or client-facing corporate environments within a Deals or transaction environment
  • Postgraduate qualifications such as CA/CPA, CFA, MBA, Masters in Finance or Applied Finance are highly regarded and add depth to your commercial acumen
  • A commercial mindset with expertise in data manipulation, integrated financial modelling, business and asset valuation, financial due diligence (FDD), cost and risk management, cashflow analysis, and problem solving with lateral thinking
  • Ability to handle multiple and varied projects simultaneously while delivering quality outcomes
  • Good understanding of the Australian market, including corporate finance principles, capital markets, industry analysis, business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, IPOs, and associated risk management practices
  • Experienced in preparing detailed, insightful reports that drive informed decisions
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships, combined with strong verbal communication, excellent business writing and advanced Excel capabilities
  • Professional qualifications in accounting, law, business, commerce, or finance that demonstrate your strong foundational expertise

The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this role is AUD 89,000 including superannuation. Higher grades will receive a salary range above this in line with the salary bands for these positions.
