About The Role

Our Deals Tax team works closely with our Deals practice to advise on the tax implications of a variety of deals projects including; Real Assets and Credit and Mergers and Acquisitions. Part of the wider Corporate Tax network, we're committed to driving collaboration and cross-working across specialities to drive innovation and success as we service clients all over the world.

The role sits within the Real Assets and Credit team, part of the Deals Tax team and will have a particular focus on Credit. We work on a wide range of transactions advising funds and institutional investors undertake transactions in the credit sector. Many of the transactions are large scale and typically involve advising on cross-border structuring.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Managing and delivering bespoke tax advice and implications on an ever-changing deal portfolio
  • Playing a key role in managing and developing relationships with clients and junior members of the team
  • Working closely with other specialists as well as other parts of PwC in order to best service your client's needs
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients
  • Contributing to the development of your own and the team's technical acumen and keeping up to date with business and economic issues
  • Collaborating with other members of the team on a wide variety of deals

This Role is for You If You Have:

  • Must possess an accounting or tax qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CAI) or Chartered Tax Advisor (ATT, CTA) (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
  • Evidence of leading complex projects for key clients
  • Experience of leading and coaching others
  • A track record of successfully generating business through converting leads and developing new business ideas
  • Experience in building and leveraging internal and external relationships and networks
  • Developed communication skills, specifically in negotiating with and influencing others
  • Experience of handling and delivering multiple projects to meet deadlines
