Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Transfer Pricing Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary About the Role We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our team due to increasing demand for our specialist services. Ideal candidates are self-starters who embrace responsibility, thrive in dynamic environments, and can manage multiple engagements across different teams simultaneously. The transfer pricing network offers comprehensive advisory services on UK and international transfer pricing rules. This includes determining arm's length comparables, policy formulation, CTSA documentation, tax audit defense, advanced pricing agreements, and assessing the tax impact of organizational business changes. Work within the Transfer Pricing Team is primarily project-based and involves collaboration with multinational companies. The role offers a variety of experiences, as it includes handling different types of intercompany transactions, such as products, services, intellectual property, and debt. Candidates will need to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, given the diverse and complex nature of the work. This position provides an opportunity to engage with challenging and varied projects, offering significant professional growth and the chance to work on impactful global business issues. The role is suited for individuals looking to leverage their expertise in a vibrant and supportive team setting, contributing to the success of multinational enterprises through strategic transfer pricing solutions. What your days will look like: Work as a subject matter specialist in the Deals Tax practice, managing and growing relationships within the Deals and Deals Tax networks and with clients. Identify transfer pricing issues and assess risks in a fast-paced transaction environment. Undertake transfer pricing planning and implementation. Coordinate European and global transfer pricing engagements with specialists across the global network. Support companies through business changes and value chain transformations, such as mergers and implementation of centralized structures. Prepare and negotiate Advance Pricing Agreements for clients, assist with tax audits, and develop transfer pricing documentation. Ensure successful delivery and management of projects, while being a role model for personal development and coaching the team. This role is for you if: Must possess an accounting or tax qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CAI) or Chartered Tax Advisor (ATT, CTA) (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country. Demonstrated history of delivering quality work, understanding client businesses, maintaining professional standards, and managing client relationships. Proactive management of client portfolios and projects, including financial and risk management. Contribute to personal and team knowledge development, utilizing industry trends and providing meaningful feedback. Experience in building business by targeting and nurturing internal and external relationships and networks. Ability to plan and deliver work under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, particularly in negotiation and influencing others, with a capacity for creative thinking and intellectual agility.
