Senior Analyst / Associate – Debt Advisory

Location: London

Languages: Fluency in German or French is highly desirable

The Firm

A leading pan-European independent debt advisory firm is looking to hire a Senior Analyst or Associate into its London team.

The firm advises private equity sponsors and corporates across Europe on complex leveraged, corporate and fund financing situations. It has an established international presence and is recognised for its highly technical, hands-on approach, strong transaction flow and longstanding relationships with leading financial sponsors, banks and private credit funds.

The Role

The successful candidate will advise financial sponsors and leveraged corporates on a broad range of transactions, including:

  • Acquisition financings and primary debt raises
  • Refinancings and recapitalisations
  • Amend-and-extend processes
  • Restructurings and strategic financing reviews
  • Fund and asset-level financings

The role offers exposure to a wide range of debt products, including senior bank debt, unitranche facilities, bonds, subordinated instruments, asset-backed financings and venture debt.

Transactions are executed in small deal teams, providing involvement throughout the full lifecycle of a mandate, from initial structuring and lender engagement through to negotiation and execution. The successful candidate will have regular exposure to senior management teams, financial sponsors, lenders and other advisers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
