Debt Capital Markets Analyst

Join the Close Brothers Treasury team where you will will support a broad range of BAU activities undertaken by the team, with special focus on maintaining the Banks secured funding lines.

Working as part of the Debt Capital Markets team our ideal team member will have previous experience in producing compliance reporting accurately and on time with excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver the monthly secured funding reporting; gather, analyse, model and interpret data, conveying findings clearly. Prepare and support the delivery of BAU internal reporting, including senior leadership information packs, ALCo materials and regulatory reporting. Support the implementation of a new secured funding system including undertaking user application testing where necessary Design, build and maintain databases and dashboards. Keep abreast of market and regulatory developments; summarise and share regular updates. Manage departmental policies and procedures, complete annual reviews and keep documentation up to date. Coordinate ongoing compliance requirements, including semi-annual and annual compliance certificates. Escalate issues and process gaps to the line manager, developing an appreciation of risks arising from both the operational environment and the conduct of the Bank.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

Experience in securitisation. Highly numerate. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience of data extraction, manipulation, and validation.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

VBA and financial modelling experience. Knowledge of SME and consumer lending markets.
