The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Debt Specialist to join our Debt team and support the delivery of fair, compliant, and effective debt recovery outcomes. This is a varied role where you’ll manage specialist collections activity across insolvency, Breathing Space, Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space, and Debt Collection Agency processes, ensuring customer accounts are handled accurately, responsibly, and in line with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice.

You’ll work closely with the wider Debt team and external partners to resolve complex queries, support customers in vulnerable circumstances, improve account accuracy, and contribute to better collections performance, customer outcomes, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing insolvency, Breathing Space, and Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space cases end-to-end.
  • Resolving DCA queries, complex customer account issues, and customer complaints.
  • Keeping customer accounts accurate through account cleansing, write-off administration, and timely updates.
  • Making outbound customer contact where needed to support resolution of outstanding balances.
  • Analysing accounts and identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and customer outcomes.
  • Supporting quality assurance, performance tracking, and visibility of DCA performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
