Part-Time Decant Coordinator – Housing Partnership (6-Month Temporary Role)

About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive, customer-focused Decant Coordinator to join our Housing Partnership Central Services team on a part-time basis for a 6-month temporary opportunity.

As a Decent Coordinator, you’ll lead and supervise the end-to-end decant process—whether due to works, emergencies or planned moves—ensuring solutions that deliver value for money while prioritising the customer at every stage. Your goal is to facilitate a quick and seamless return to their home.

Successful candidates will thrive in a dynamic, problem-solving role where assertive communication, data-driven decision-making, and customer empathy are essential. You’ll collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve challenges and drive continuous improvement.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious, hands-on professional who enjoys leading under pressure and delivers results in a blueprint-driven, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer-Centric Decant Management

  • Manage and oversee full decant cycles, from placement to return.
  • Engage with customers in-person and via phone/digital channels with confidence and empathy.
  • Handle challenging conversations to resolve conflicts and secure quick, win-win outcomes for all parties.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
