Deco/Printer Process Specialist Launch Team

Position Overview
Working as part of a team of process experts, you will be responsible for start-up performance of Decorator/Printer equipment across new builds, new lines, and conversions. The role focuses on achieving targets in efficiency, quality, spoilage, and environmental compliance, while supporting overall line performance.
Key Responsibilities Include
Lead safe equipment start-up, commissioning, and ramp-up Act as SME for Decorator/Printer, driving stable, high-performance operation Deliver hands-on training to plant teams (primarily on-the-job) Troubleshoot issues and support rapid problem resolution during start-up Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement Validate SOPs and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food standards Support transition from start-up to steady-state production Achieve efficiency and spoilage targets for new lines and conversions

What We Are Looking For
Electrical or Mechanical qualification or relevant hands-on experience Strong expertise in can manufacturing and Decorator/Printer equipment Proven troubleshooting and process optimisation skills Ability to train and transfer knowledge to others Experience with start-ups or line launches (preferred) Strong problem-solving and basic Lean knowledge Good communication, teamwork, and ownership mindset Minimum 5 years’ experience in can manufacturing
