Job Description

We are looking for experienced Decorators to join our team working on kitchen and bathroom renewal projects within the social housing sector across KT12 area.

This is a great opportunity for self-employed tradespeople looking for consistent, long-term work with strong earning potential. You’ll be part of a well-organised programme, delivering quality work in occupied properties while making a real difference to residents’ homes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out painting and decorating works within kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
  • Completing retouches and fillings following plastering works
  • Applying first and second coats to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Painting ceilings, walls, and wooden boxing covering pipes and wiring
  • Protecting furniture and surrounding areas at all times, as properties are fully furnished
  • Working efficiently to complete at least one kitchen and one bathroom per day
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site rules (fan heaters up to 240V are not permitted)
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment in occupied properties

Qualifications

  • Experience in domestic/similar work
  • CSCS Card
  • Basic H&S certifications (especially asbestos awareness)

Additional Information

In addition to the above qualifications, we are looking for:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Own tools (110v or battery-operated)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (van preferred)
  • Good conversational English
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
