Manpower are currently seeking an interim Deductions Specialist with Amazon experience, to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment. The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 6 months, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £42,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
Role Purpose
Support the Amazon business by managing complex Amazon Order-to-Cash (O2C) deduction processes while acting as a key partner to the Amazon Customer Development team. The role focuses on the end-to-end Amazon deductions process, including reviewing invoice deductions, investigating claims, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies. Working closely with Customer Development, Finance and Genpact, you will help drive improved cash recovery, operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
This is not a traditional Finance role. Whilst candidates from Finance backgrounds are welcome, the role would also suit candidates from Customer Operations or similar operational environments with strong hands-on experience of Amazon deductions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
