About The Role
We are excited to offer a Degree Apprenticeship opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Laboratory Technician at our Rushden site. This is a fantastic alternative to the traditional university route - you'll gain hands-on experience in a real-world lab environment while studying towards a fully funded BSc (Hons) in Chemical Science through Manchester Metropolitan University (or a similar provider).

Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day running of the laboratory
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of lab equipment
- Assist with stock management and ordering of supplies
- Help introduce and validate new equipment
- Carry out basic pharmaceutical sample analysis
- Accurately document and report data
- Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready lab environment
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 104 UCAS points, including relevant A-levels (e.g., Chemistry or Biology)
- Strong academic performance and a genuine interest in science
- Good scientific judgement and analytical thinking
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive, tidy, and methodical approach to work
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Formal Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
