About The Role
We are looking for an outgoing, commercially aware Delegate Recruitment Executive – B2B Technology Events/ Audience Development Executive German Speaker to join our team. The primary focus of the role will be developing and growing high-quality audiences for our German VIP and Channel events, working closely with senior technology channel professionals across Germany and wider Europe.
You will take ownership of audience development activity across a portfolio of events, including delegate sourcing, qualification, relationship building and attendance delivery. This role involves regular communication with MSPs, VARs, solution providers, vendors, advisory board members and other senior technology professionals.

Working closely with editorial, marketing, sales and operations teams, you will become a key voice for the German audience community while also supporting wider European programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audience development for German VIP and Channel events, including research, sourcing, outreach, qualification and attendance delivery.
- Build and maintain relationships across the IT channel community, including MSPs, VARs, system integrators, solution providers, vendors and advisory board members.
- Conduct professional conversations in German and English with prospective delegates, clearly communicating event value and attendee benefits.
- Support the German advisory board programme, including communications, preparation and feedback collection.
- Assess delegate applications against event criteria an audience requirements.
- Share market insight, audience feedback and relationship intelligence with internal stakeholders.
- Use phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals and networking opportunities to develop the German audience community.
- Attend relevant events in Germany, the UK and Europe to strengthen relationships and identify future delegates.
- Provide regular reporting on audience progress, pipeline quality and attendance risk, in both English and German.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent German and English language skills, with the confidence to communicate professionally with senior technology and channel professionals in both languages.
- Previous experience in audience development, delegate acquisition, recruitment, sales, partnerships, events or another relationship-led commercial environment is required.
- A confident communicator who enjoys speaking to people by phone, email, LinkedIn and face-to-face.
- A natural relationship-builder who can develop trust with senior IT, technology and channel professionals and represent The Channel Company in a professional, human and credible way.
- Commercially aware, curious and comfortable researching companies, job titles, technology themes, market trends and potential attendee communities.
- Organised, self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines at the same time.
- Comfortable working towards targets, tracking progress and taking ownership of results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems or event platforms would be useful but is not essential.
- Willingness to work on a hybrid basis, with office attendance required at least twice a week, as well as occasional travel to events in Germany, the UK and wider Europe when needed.
