Delegate Sales Executive

Location: London (onsite)
Reporting to: VP of Delegate Sales
Salary: £35k + OTE

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Delegate Sales Executive to join a leading global events business within the energy sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of conference delegate passes and packages to both new and existing clients across a portfolio of international energy events. You'll engage with senior decision-makers from some of the world's largest organisations, including international oil companies, engineering firms, energy trading houses, consultancies, legal firms, government bodies and SMEs.

Working closely with the wider sales, marketing and conference production teams, you'll play a key role in driving attendance, developing new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive delegate sales revenue by selling conference passes and delegate packages to new and existing clients.
  • Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across the global energy industry.
  • Take ownership of a designated territory, managing your own accounts, pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
  • Grow existing accounts through consultative selling and identifying opportunities for group delegate bookings.
  • Research target markets, industry trends and competitor events to identify new prospects and maximise attendance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, data, sponsorship and conference production teams to support targeted sales campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting using Salesforce or CRM systems.
  • Attend conferences and industry events to strengthen client relationships and secure repeat business for future events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
