The DUA Analyst manages and optimises The Business's Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) and binder operations. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality data management, robust bordereaux validation, and comprehensive reporting across our binding authorities. Acting as a key bridge between broking teams, Coverholders, and Managing Agents, this position ensures full compliance with market standards while driving operational efficiencies through system administration and innovative API integration projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare new and renewal Delegated Underwriting Authority contracts (binders) alongside broking teams, ensuring technical precision before presentation.
- Review team members’ draft binders meticulously prior to broker or underwriter review.
- Draft endorsements for existing binders, submit slips/endorsements to Velonetic, and process DCOM submissions.
- Maintain clear communication channels with Coverholders and Managing Agents regarding placement needs.
- Manage Atlas platforms on behalf of Coverholders to guarantee Annual Compliance.
- Independently investigate and clear complex Velonetic processing queries, supporting team members with technical bottlenecks.
- Validate that all incoming datasets adhere strictly to mandated Lloyd's 5.2 Reporting Standards.
- Upload and validate written, premium, and claims bordereaux in Intrali (Vipr), writing new system validation rules for complex contract terms.
- Prepare LPANs, process paid bordereaux onto Novus, and execute peer review sign-offs before data transfers to the accounts team.
- Build monthly paid and claims bordereaux tracking 4 years of account, updating templates for market changes.
- Create LORS entries for offshore processing teams to guarantee efficient remittance back to reinsurers.
