What You’ll Be Doing
As a Delegated Authorities Business Partner, you’ll:
- Sit at the centre of delegated underwriting activity, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure coverholders, binding authorities, and third-party arrangements are managed effectively.
- Take ownership of approvals and renewals, handling complex applications and providing clear, confident guidance.
- Lead oversight activity across a diverse portfolio, using your experience to:
- Review arrangements
- Spot trends
- Drive improvements in how we work
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure consistency and quality.
- Produce insightful reporting to support better decision-making across the business.

Alongside day-to-day oversight, you’ll:
- Play a key role in shaping and enhancing delegated underwriting processes.
- Identify opportunities to:
- Improve efficiency
- Strengthen controls
- Support the rollout of new systems, regulatory changes, and wider transformation initiatives.
- Influence stakeholders and build strong relationships to partner with:
- Underwriting divisions
- Brokers
- Service companies
- Regulators
- Deliver positive outcomes.
