Deli Assistant - Full Time
Londis Dundalk is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Deli Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have previous deli experience, a strong understanding of food safety standards, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold food products to a high standard.
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintain food displays, ensuring products are fresh, well-presented, and fully stocked.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
- Monitor food temperatures and complete required food safety records.
- Keep the deli area clean, organised, and compliant with company standards.
- Assist with stock rotation and waste control.
- Work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues as required.

Requirements
- Previous deli experience is essential.
- Level 2 HACCP certification is required.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
- Available to work 6:30am – 3:00pm shifts, including Sundays.
