Deli Supervisor - Full Time - Ballyhooly, County Cork
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Inver Retail Group as a Full Time Deli Supervisor in our SPAR INVER, Ballyhooly, Co. Cork. The company consists of over 20 convenience retail stores throughout Ireland. As a Deli Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to our goal of creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include ordering and managing inventory, maintaining food safety standards, training and supervising deli staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The key roles and responsibilities involved in this role include. Ensuring all HACCP and food safety standards are met, and that all documentation is up to date Handling stock and waste control of the Deli products, investigating issues as they arise Bringing forward new ideas to increase sales and standards within the department Managing the day-to-day management of the Deli operations and the employees to improve sales performance. Supervising employees in various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating counters Managing product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilage Ensuring that products are properly labelled with prices and dates Dealing with customer queries to the highest possible standards Encouraging an atmosphere of good Customer Service and team work within the Deli area Completing any back office administrative duties as required Assisting in preparation of inventory and sales budgets Provide training to staff on company policies and sales guidelines. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Strong understanding of food safety regulations Previous customer service experience Exceptional communication skills The ability to work as part of a team. Additional qualifications in food safety or retail management would be advantageous. Skills: Customer Service HACCP Retail
