Deli Team Member – Full-Time Position

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay rates range from £11.90 – £13.25 per hour, depending on age

About the Role

Deli Team Member is perfect for someone who loves working with food, delivered by a supportive company equipped to develop talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-class customer service with a smile and professionalism.
  • Prepare, cook, and bake goods while adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness in prep areas and counters, including kitchen porter duties.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure SPAR Bakery and Delish Deli counters are consistently fresh and appealing.
  • Fulfil any additional role-specific duties as required.

Experience Note: No prior retail or foodservice experience is necessary—training will be provided.


Requirements & Qualities

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • A keen personality, passion for food, and positive energy.
  • Strong customer focus to deliver the best experience.
  • Team player ethos with a commitment to upholding our core values.

Availability:

  • Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
  • Shift schedule: 5:00am – 4:00pm (Monday to Sunday)
  • Critical: Weekday availability from 5:00am for this role.
  • Flexibility is preferred for covering shifts.
