This role plays a key part in enhancing the customer delivery journey, optimising driver experiences and supporting the implementation of innovative operational solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams across eCommerce, Retail, Logistics and Fleet Operations, you'll help deliver improvements that enhance customer communications, drive operational efficiency, and support strategic business initiatives.
This role requires on-site presence at Asda House in Leeds three days per week. We’re really looking forward to having you around!
This role includes participation in an on-call rota, providing support during weekdays and weekends when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Use data, insights and reporting to support decision-making and identify opportunities to improve the online grocery delivery experience.
- Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of customer communication journeys and order update processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of driver training materials, operational policies and process improvements.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving driver engagement, retention and overall colleague experience.
- Support the rollout, implementation and embedding of Electric Vehicle (EV) initiatives across the network.
- Assist with the delivery of projects, tracking progress against agreed objectives, timelines and business case outcomes.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insight and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, depots and retail operations to enable successful project delivery.
- Maintain project documentation, plans and communications to ensure projects are delivered effectively and within budget.
- Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement across the driver operating model.

About You
You'll be an organised and analytical individual who enjoys collaborating with others, solving problems and driving meaningful change.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and networks.
- Analytical mindset with good Excel and data analysis skills, capable of translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and adapting to changing priorities.
- Experience within eCommerce, logistics, fleet operations or a similar operational environment.
- Experience supporting or delivering projects aligned to strategic objectives.
- Customer-focused approach, with a strong understanding of how operational changes impact the customer experience.
- Ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative, practical solutions through collaboration.
Working Pattern
This role includes participation in an on-call rota, providing support during weekdays and weekends when required.
