Delivery Coach
We're currently looking for a Delivery Coach to join the team, working from home. You will be responsible for delivering group and 1:1 Teaching & Learning workshops to learners and complete ongoing progress reviews to meet all requirements set out by the Department of Education (DFE) and Ofsted.
You will have a proven track record of developing positive relationships with employers from engagement to retention, you will showcase Capita as the provider of choice. You will have outstanding customer service skills and can adapt your communication style to meet individual needs of all our customers internal and external.
As a natural and passionate Delivery Coach, you will be accountable for all aspects of Learner Journey. This will include ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, meeting all regulations set out by DFE & Ofsted. You will set high expectations for your learners, ensuring regular reviews are conducted and the implementation of action plans to ensure timely achievement of all learning components.
This is a home working role, but travel will be required.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Represent Capita as the professional education provider of choice
- Build professional relations with employers so they will positively promote the services of Capita
- Motivate, inspire, and drive learners to achieve their apprenticeship through outstanding teaching and learning
- Deliver and facilitate teaching, learning and assessment that encourages accelerated learning and results in new knowledge, skills and behaviours being applied into the workplace
- Responsibility for adapting practice to support the needs of learners with SEND needs and making referrals to the SEND team
- Support and contextualise the development of Maths, English and Digital Skills throughout the Learner Journey
- Accountable for the development and achievement of Functional Skills in Maths and English
- Performance against key measures delivered consistently
- Support the learning process through use of learning resources, and facilitating workplace on-the-job training as required
- Provide information, advice, and guidance throughout the Learner Journey
- Provide learners with all the relevant policies and regulations to clarify what is expected of them and to ensure their safety
- Monitor learner's welfare and health and safety in the workplace upskilling learner's knowledge regarding Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent and Equality & Diversity
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience (Operational Firefighting)
- Experience in delivering effective teaching, learning and assessment
- Experience in a similar role within education
- Good understanding of the DFE Funding Rules
- Good understanding of the Ofsted agenda
- Exceptional administrative skills and a keen eye for detail
- Confident user of MS Office packages including Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience of working remotely with the ability to work from home
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently at all levels
- The ability to prioritise and think on your feet
- Clean driving licence with use of a car and the ability to work flexibly, travel nationally, and the flexibility to stay away overnight as and when required
- Flexibility to adapt working pattern to support business needs and work over weekends should you be required to support business needs
- Outstanding people skills, with the ability to adapt to meet individual needs
- Functional Skills at level 2 maths and English

About Fire Service College:
The Fire Service College (FSC) is a world-renowned further education training college that provides a range of resilience focused courses and programmes ranging from apprenticeships to fully accredited qualifications. On a 300-acre site FSC provides both practical and classroom-based learning in addition to remote/customer site delivered courses. FSC courses and programmes are accredited with SFJ Awards, Highfields, Institution for Fire Engineers, FireQual, Lantra, JOIFF and Proboard/NFPA. Customers range from fire and rescue services, police forces, ambulance services, the military, various commercial organisations to individuals who wish to further their careers. FSC attracts learners from international fire and rescue services from the Middle East and across Europe.
