Scale Delivery Consultant (Permanent) | Central London, UK

Hlx Life Sciences is a global life sciences recruitment company, founded over two years ago with a mission to address the global shortage of skilled talent in the sector. With over 100 years of combined life science recruitment experience and an advisory board of scientific industry experts, we partner with clients across Pharma, CROs, TechBio, and CDMOs, among others.

Backed by life science investors who believe in our mission, we work with some of the most innovative biotech companies and leading life science VCs to support company growth and portfolio expansion.

Since our launch in January 2024, we've grown to a team of 40 globally, with offices across London, Basel, and Boston. We've just come off the back of our strongest quarter to date, generating £4M+ in Q2 alone.

We're also hiring 20+ more people this year, and we're looking for an experienced recruiter to join our London team as a Scale Delivery Consultant.

You'll be working on permanent hires through our Scale model, partnering with some of the most exciting, high-growth biotech and healthtech companies to deliver multi-hire projects and build teams from the ground up. This isn't your typical 360 recruitment role. It's an opportunity for a successful 360 biller who's ready to transition into a more 180-focused, delivery-led position - where the emphasis is on building deep client relationships, managing strategic hiring projects, and delivering exceptional talent rather than generating new business. We're looking for someone who thrives on becoming embedded within fast-growing accounts, enjoys account and project management, and takes pride in delivering a best-in-class candidate and client experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
