The Role: Delivery Driver (3.5T Van)
Location: Sittingbourne, Plumb Centre Branch Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday (07:00 AM – 4:00 PM) with flexibility – no weekend work required
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies within an 80-mile radius
- Fulfil 10–30 daily deliveries, primarily to new-build construction sites, residential customers, and other businesses
- Conduct vehicle checks
- Load/unload deliveries, including manual handling of heavy items (e.g., boilers, radiators, toilets, sinks)
- Assist in the warehouse if back early by:
- Unloading/unpacking stock
- Picking, packing, and stock-checking orders
- General maintenance and tidying

Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence (clean licence required)
- Experience preferred with multi-drop driving
- Strong communication skills (clear and reliable)
- Basic computer support and familiarity with PDA devices
- Willingness to assist in warehouse operations for operational efficiency
- Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and strong work ethic
