Role Description

Title: Part-Time, On-Site Delivery Driver (London-based)

The Delivery Driver at Pizza Hut must prioritise safe and efficient pizza and menu item deliveries, ensuring orders are accurate, well-handled, and delivered with the brand’s standards. As part of this dynamic role, you’ll:

  • Check orders against receipts to ensure accuracy
  • Plan delivery routes efficiently while adhering to time targets
  • Manage payments (both cash and electronic) securely
  • Comply with food safety and hygiene standards to uphold quality
  • Deliver a friendly, professional experience for customers while door-delivering
  • Assist in-store by packaging orders, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting operations
  • Coordinate with your team and management to meet delivery deadlines
  • Follow all traffic regulations and maintain the delivery vehicle in excellent condition
  • Represent Pizza Hut’s brand consistently in every customer interaction

  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, politely, and professionally with customers and colleagues
  • Food & beverage industry experience, including an understanding of fundamental food safety and hygiene practices
  • Sales and upselling strength to promote menu items, special offers, and add-ons during customer interactions
  • Willingness to train and learn—including following delivery protocols and systems
  • A valid driver’s licence with a strong driving record and familiarity with London traffic
  • Physical ability to lift and carry food items/delivery bags and endure periods of standing/walking
  • Reliable time management skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling payments and verifying orders
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations
