Delivery Driver Job Description – GSF Car Parts

Delivery Drivers play a crucial part of the team within GSF Car Parts. They are the face of our brand by delivering parts to customers and continuously providing excellent customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are essential to us, giving customer feedback insights and ensuring we stay committed to delivering goods within the promised time.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of our high-performing organisation and promoting the Company brand through positive interaction with customers.

Main Duties

  • Deliver product to customer’s premises within a 40-mile radius
  • Ensure high levels of customer service at all times
  • Provide feedback to the branch on relevant customer and competitor activity
  • Load your vehicle according to established procedures
  • Collect customer returns as required
  • Perform vehicle maintenance, including daily vehicle checks
  • Assist in the warehouse as and when required
  • Support with Inter-Branch Transfer Deliveries as and when needed

Working Hours

  • 41-hour average (Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday shifts)

About You

What You’ll Need to Succeed

You must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
  • Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of the 40-mile radius of the branch
  • Have previous experience in a delivery driver role
  • Demonstrate an ability to uphold excellent customer service standards
  • Work to deadlines with strong timekeeping skills
  • Be customer-focused, highly motivated and willing to go the extra mile
