Applicant Delivery Van Driver – Argos
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a 3.5-tonne van to deliver a variety of products to customers’ doorsteps, ensuring on-time delivery in excellent condition
- Conducting pre-drive checks to ensure the van is organised, clean, and roadworthy, with secure delivery cases for safe travel
- Driving confidently in various locations and conditions, from residential streets to country lanes
- Providing exceptional customer service—assisting with queries, updating customers on delays, and maintaining professionalism
- Embracing new technology to enhance efficiency while operating safely
- Supporting stockroom and shop floor operations when not on deliveries
- Developing in-depth knowledge of Argos’ products, services, and promotions to offer tailored recommendations
