Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company van safely, delivering grocery orders across your designated area.
- Work efficiently within tight schedules to ensure on-time, high-quality deliveries.
- Maintain excellent customer service, engaging positively with customers in person.
- Refurbish returned products and ensure vehicles meet our high standards.
- Uphold Ocado’s core values of teamwork, integrity, and going the extra mile.
Essential Requirements
Driving Licence & Experience
- Full and valid UK or EU driving licence.
- At least 12 months driving experience (cars or vans).
- No more than 6 penalty points on your license.
- No driving disqualifications in the past five years.
Personal Attributes
- Must be 18 years or over (minoring in alcohol handling responsibilities).

- Sunday pay grows further with higher overnight rates.

The Application Process
- Apply online (no CV or interview stress – just you and our team).
- We’ll contact you directly to conduct an online licence check and Right to Work checks.
- Visit for a tour and discuss roles in a Q&A.
- Undergo a Disclosure Barring System (DBS) check.
- Tailored start date: Hire directly into the role.

Contract Details
- Type: Permanent
- Hours: ~37.5 hours including all paid breaks.
- Flexibility:
- Shift duration: ~7 working hours + breaks throughout weekdays, split shifts possible (e.g., AM/PM scenarios).
- Starting times: Ranges from 05:30 to midnight.
- Access to your rota up to 13 weeks ahead for planning purposes.
- Lunar Pay Structure: Earn monthly over a 4-week period.
- Weekdays assignment: Your typical week may include any 5 days out of seven, varying by your area/fixed schedule requirements (absurdities are eliminated through individualised onboarding).
