Location: HSL Chairs, Logistics Centre, LS27 7FN

Salary: £12.96 per hour

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week - (No nights or weekends)

What does a day in the role of a driver look like?

As the customer experience sits at the very heart of everything we do; our white-glove delivery experience is often the last touchpoint of the customer journey, so ensuring a premium, personal service, is essential.

We want every customer to feel truly valued and as though they were the only customer that you were delivering furniture to that day. As a highly valued member our delivery team, your primary function will be to delight each and every customer, providing a premium, white-glove delivery service, which includes the assembly of their new chair, sofa and/or bed. To ensure you feel confident in your role and that our customers receive the best service, you will receive comprehensive training and support. You will be of a friendly, caring nature, wearing the HSL smile as you build a good rapport with our customers and/or their loved ones.

A Few things you’ll need:

  • A full driving licence
  • Provide an excellent customer experience, ensuring a seamless installation process, including the careful preservation of the customer’s home and their new furniture
  • Act as a HSL customer champion
  • Make multiple deliveries each day
  • Work with the delivery and warehouse teams to load and unload furniture onto our delivery vehicles
  • Ensure that you adhere to all health and safety regulations, including vehicle safety checks
  • Co-ordinate deliveries to a schedule
  • Quality checking of products and packaging
