Role Description

The Delivery Driver role at Domino’s in Gainsborough is a part-time, on-site position responsible for safely delivering orders to customers in a timely and friendly manner. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Checking accuracy and quality
  • Navigating to customer locations using provided directions or GPS

When not on the road, the role includes supporting in-store operations such as:

  • Helping with food preparation
  • Maintaining cleanliness
  • Assisting with basic customer service and order-taking

This position involves working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service and Food & Beverage skills to ensure a positive experience and accurate, high-quality order delivery
  • Ability to support Sales activities through friendly interaction, upselling when appropriate, and promoting current offers
  • Capability to participate in and provide Training related to delivery procedures, safety standards, and store operations
  • Forklift Operation or similar equipment-handling experience is helpful for roles that may assist with stock or supply chain tasks
  • Valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and reliable transportation suitable for delivering orders
  • Good local area knowledge or strong navigation skills, with the ability to follow directions efficiently
  • Ability to lift and carry pizzas and related items, move quickly, and stand for extended periods
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Previous experience in delivery, retail, or food service is beneficial but not required; on-the-job training is provided
