GSF Car Parts relies on Delivery Drivers to uphold their high standards and represent their brand with professionalism. Drivers are instrumental in delivering products to customers, whilst fostering excellent service relations and ensuring timely deliveries based on promises.
If you thrive in a zero-hour/casual work climate, we’re looking for a motivated Delivery Driver to support our branch and play a critical role in our operations. Your contributions will help ensure the company’s high performance and reinforce the GSF brand through exceptional customer interactions.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver automotive parts to customers within a 40-mile radius, ensuring timely and punctual service.
- Maintain high customer service standards in all interactions—listening, anticipating needs, and resolving issues.
- Provide relevant feedback on customer interactions, competitor activity, and operational efficiency to the branch management.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures.
- Collect customer returns as required, ensuring documentation and stock accounting compliance.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks, including pre- and post-delivery vehicle inspections, and maintain overall vehicle cleanliness and functioning.
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including stock handling, order preparation, and inventory control.
- Support inter-branch transfers as necessary, ensuring seamless and accurate delivery of parts between GSF locations.

Hours & Conditions
Average working hours: up to 41 hours per week (Monday–Friday), with alternate Saturday shifts as required based on branch operational demands. Flexibility and willingness to work varied hours is essential.
Qualifications & Competencies
To excel in this role, you must:
- Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Demonstrate at least 3 years of professional driving experience, with familiarity in local vehicle navigation and logistics.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the branch’s 40-mile delivery radius, including key customer locations and secondary routes.
- Have previous experience within a delivery driver, logistics, or customer-facing sales role.
- Prioritise excellent customer service, understanding its impact on brand reputation and retention.
- Be time-conscious and deadline-driven, with a reliance on punctuality and reliability.
- Maintain a customer-centric mindset, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond standards for service excellence.
