About the Role
Delivery Drivers play a crucial part of the team within GSF Car Parts. They are the face of our brand, delivering auto parts to customers and providing outstanding customer service. As part of what we do, drivers share insights from customer interactions to ensure we remain committed to delivering excellent, on-time service.
This is a zero hour/casual contracting opportunity, where your role involves supporting the branch by covering absences or holiday periods while contributing to a high-performing organisation. You will actively promote the company brand through positive customer interactions and maintaining strong operational standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customer premises within a 40-mile radius of the branch
- Maintain high standards of customer service at all times
- Provide feedback to the branch on customer and competitor activity
- Load vehicles according to established safety and efficiency procedures
- Collect customer returns as required
- Perform vehicle maintenance, including daily checks and fleet compliance
- Lend assistance in the warehouse when necessary
- Support inter-branch transfer deliveries as needed

Working Conditions
- Avg. 41 hours per week (Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday working when required)
- Hours adjusted based on branch demands
About You
Required Skills and Experience
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A full valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- A minimum of three years’ driving experience
- In-depth knowledge of a 40-mile delivery radius around the branch
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is strongly preferred
- A strong understanding of the importance of exceptional customer service
- The ability to work efficiently to deadlines with excellent timekeeping
- Customer-focused attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for quality results
