Role Description and Requirements
The DE Coordinator is responsible for supporting the project delivery team as well as the wider Delivery Enablement (DE) function, providing real-time project support to the business and owning delivery performance across the live project portfolio. The title is deliberately Coordinator rather than Administrator, signalling independent challenge authority rather than a purely administrative remit.
Throughout the project lifecycle, the DE Coordinator will be required to ensure projects are in line with the CornerStone Delivery Framework by ensuring project governance is applied, providing independent challenge, early risk warning and reliable forecasting, and reporting any internal project ownership risks and issues to the Associate Director – Delivery in a timely manner.
The role relieves Associate Directors of day-to-day coordination to focus on delighting clients.
We are looking for someone who will actively develop the role and the wider delivery model as the business grows. The successful candidate will bring ideas that improve delivery predictability, refine monitoring and forecasting practice, and help build a scalable, repeatable DE function.
DE Coordinator tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring project delivery, including policing deliverable due dates, updating light touch project schedules, and supporting consultants with handovers from sales or internal consultants at interim stages, and delivery
- Using project management tools to administer and coordinate projects with project owners, ensuring project information remains complete, accurate and maintained as the business single source of truth
- Supporting new project creation and set up, and engaging with Project Owners to create the initial simple project schedule, keeping the schedules up to date throughout the project lifecycle
- Undertaking monitoring reviews of projects with the Project Owners on a one-to-one basis, whilst building good working relationships
- Supporting Associate Directors in internal project delivery team update meetings and taking action as required
- Reviewing delivery dashboards and reports and flagging issues
- Risk-based monitoring of the portfolio, ensuring risks, actions, issues, and changes are registered appropriately, and escalating early warning signals before they reach the client or P&L
- Reviewing project statuses and identifying actions, including OTIF (on-time, in-full) tracking and delivery health reviews
- Monitoring all project document deliverables to ensure timely and complete delivery
- Managing permissions of the project folders and documents on project sites to ensure information security
- Arranging and directing internal project handovers between changing project owners, and acting as the sales interface for upcoming project needs
- Conducting various project stage/health check reviews in line with the requirements of the CornerStone Delivery Framework to ensure governance and risk management
- Supporting the lessons learned process for both projects and the wider business
- Managing and actioning the internal project closure process
- Where assigned, providing required support to specific individual projects, including status reports
- Undertaking delivery team resource management using data, providing Directors with early warnings of upcoming bottlenecks or under-utilised resource that may require recruitment or readjustment of work distribution
- Contributing to portfolio forecasting, resource and capacity planning
- Conducting a weekly audit of data completeness and escalating non-compliance to the relevant Associate Director
- Implementing policies for project folder housekeeping and supporting development of templates for documentation and project sites
- Assisting in reviewing processes and contributing ideas towards continual improvement and efficiency
- Supporting the DE function with ad hoc requirements
- Supporting the development and reporting of Key Performance Indicators including:
- OTIF delivery
- Forecast accuracy
- Resource utilisation
- Risk-to-issue rate trending

Ideal Candidate
Essential
- Proven experience in project coordination, PMO, delivery management or a comparable portfolio-monitoring role
- Track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and forecasting resource, capacity and schedule
- Confident using project/portfolio management tooling (Wrike or equivalent) as a single source of truth; strong data discipline
- Ability to challenge senior stakeholders constructively and hold peers to account on delivery data
- Strong analytical skills – able to read early-warning signals and escalate before issues reach the client or P&L
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting delivery-health and KPI packs to leadership
- Organised, self-directed and credible operating at AD-adjacent level
Desirable
- APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) or PRINCE2 Foundation
- Experience within a security, construction, or technical consultancy environment
