The Highlights
Here’s what we offer:
Pay & Schedule
- Competitive salary: £31,464 per annum (£13.70 per hour)
- Bonus: Up to £2000 (paid quarterly) for delivering amazing service
- 4-week rota:
- Week 1: Mon-Sat (48 hrs, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM)
- Week 2: Tues-Fri (40 hrs, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM)
- Permanent; average 44 hrs/week

The Role
You’ll work as part of a skilled 2-person delivery team, completing 10–15 deliveries a day, including installing furniture in customers’ homes. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving:
- Regular lifting of heavy items
- Navigating stairs and tight spaces

Responsibilities
- Complete all deliveries into customers’ homes safely and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with customers prior to delivery to confirm schedules.
- Ensure furniture is delivered to the correct rooms and no rubbish remains.
- Represent the company’s values and uphold the standards of DFS and Sofology.
- Provide feedback to improve service standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues immediately.
- Comply with government driving laws and company policies.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a valid 7.5T Licence, Grandfather Rights, or ROI equivalent
- Be up to date with a Digi Tacho and valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card
- Have a manual driving licence for 12 months or more, with less than 6 points.
- Be ready to work in a supportive two-person team.
- Enjoy helping customers and having strong communication skills.
- Be comfortable installing and lifting heavy furniture in diverse home settings.
- Excel with strong time management and thrive on varied tasks.
- Prioritise safety for yourself and others.
