The Highlights
Here’s what we offer:
- Great Pay: A competitive salary of £34,227 per annum (£16.75 per hour) plus an annual bonus (paid quarterly) of up to £2,000 for delivering amazing service.
- Fantastic sign-on bonus: £1,000, paid in two instalments — £500 after 3 months, £500 after 6 months!
- The Ultimate 4-on, 4-off Balance: Work 7:00am – 7:00pm, then enjoy 4 days off to relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work. Including annual leave (equivalent to working less than 6 months of the year), it’s predictable, guaranteed (39.35 hrs/week) and permanent.

The Role
You’ll work as part of a skilled two-person delivery team, completing 10–15 deliveries a day and installing furniture in customers’ homes. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving lifting heavy items, navigating stairs, and working in tight spaces. If you take pride in doing a job to the highest standard, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Complete all deliveries into customers’ homes in a safe and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with customers before delivery, ensuring they know you’re on your way.
- Ensure furniture is delivered to the requested room and no rubbish is left behind.
- Represent The Sofa Delivery Company’s values (and our brand partners’) in every interaction.
- Collaborate with your team and senior managers to provide feedback that continuously improves service standards.
- Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections, reporting any defects/missing items immediately to your line manager.
- Comply with all driving laws and company policies/procedures.

This Role is For You If…
You meet the following key criteria:
- Hold a 7.5t licence (Grandfather rights/ROI equivalent), current Digi Tacho, valid CPC card, and a manual driving licence.
- Have held a valid licence for at least 12 months with less than 6 points.
- Are ready to work as part of a supportive two-person team.
- Enjoy helping customers and thrive in customer-facing roles.
- Can comfortably lift heavy furniture in varying home settings.
- Have strong time management skills and love variety in your work.
- Take pride in your work and prioritise safety—for you and others.
