As part of the DFS group, we deliver for our DFS and Sofology brands. Our colleagues receive the necessary tools, training, and support to make every moment count. Regardless of whether you’re in a warehouse, on the road, or at a customer’s home, you’ll contribute to delivering moments that matter.
The Highlights

Competitive Rewards & Pay
- £31,464 salary per annum (or £13.70 per hour)
- Annual bonus of up to £2,000 (paid quarterly) for exceptional service
- A flexible rota:
- Week 1: Monday–Saturday (48hours, 7am–4pm)
- Week 2: Tuesday–Friday (40hours, 7am–6pm) averaging 44 hours/week
- Permanent role with guaranteed hours

Responsibilities
As a Delivery Specialist, your role includes:
- Delivering with excellence: Safely and professionally completing all deliveries into customers’ homes.
- Customer communication: Ensuring customers know you’re on your way via clear updates.
- Meeting customer needs: Furniture must be delivered to the correct room, with zero waste left behind.
- Representing our values: Upholding The Sofa Delivery Company’s mission in every aspect of your work.
- Continuous improvement: Collaborating with your team and senior managers to refine our service standards.
- Vehicle care: Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting any faults or missing items promptly.
- Compliance: Adhering to all driving laws, company policies, and procedures.
How You’ll Thrive in This Role
Requirements & Experience
The role suits candidates who:
- Hold a 7.5-Tonne Licence (or Grandfather rights/ROI equivalent)
- Have up-to-date Digi Tacho records and a valid CPC Card
- Possess a manual driving licence for 12+ months with six or fewer points
- Prefer a hands-on, physically demanding setting where you install heavy furniture in diverse home environments.
- Keep time management and adaptability at the forefront of your work.
