THE COMPANY

Established in 1998, JSM Group designs and installs the power networks, digital infrastructure and specialist systems that critical industries run on, from high-power grid connections and data centres to renewable energy. Our turnkey teams deliver complex infrastructure at speed, on time, and with reduced legislative, technical and commercial risk.

THE TEAM

Join the Power Operations team at JSM Group Services Ltd., a leading provider of integrated utility infrastructure solutions. Our combination of end-to-end technical expertise, decades of industry experience, and unlimited fresh thinking makes us a trusted partner for the delivery of next-generation connectivity in energy and communications across the UK, Europe and beyond.

Our Power team delivers high-value electrical infrastructure projects for some of the most demanding clients in the sector – from hyperscale data centre operators to major industrial and grid clients. We are building a team of exceptional project management professionals who can drive complex programmes from award through to energisation, and we want people who take real ownership of their projects.

SCOPE OF ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Power, the Delivery Interface Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end project management of high-value HV electrical infrastructure projects (typically £5m+), from post-award handover through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and final handover. This is a hands-on project management role at the centre of delivery – coordinating across design engineers, DNOs/IDNOs, commercial teams, supply chain and site – ensuring every workstream is aligned, risks are controlled, and projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

The role requires a technically credible project manager with a strong background in HV electrical infrastructure (11kV–132kV), sharp commercial awareness across NEC/JCT frameworks, and the confidence to lead and develop a team of Project Managers in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Take full ownership of project delivery from post-award handover through to final completion and client sign-off.
  • Lead the structured handover process from Estimating to Delivery, ensuring all commercial, technical and programme information is captured and understood.
  • Develop, maintain and drive project programmes, ensuring all workstreams – design, procurement, construction and commissioning – are sequenced and resourced effectively.
  • Chair regular project reviews, tracking progress against programme, budget and contractual commitments, and escalating risks and issues proactively.
  • Manage project budgets and forecasts, controlling cost and protecting margin throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate the full electrical design lifecycle from initiation through to DNO/IDNO and client approval, ensuring design risks are identified early and mitigated.
  • Oversee the transition from approved design to procurement and construction readiness, maintaining momentum at every stage.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
