Delivery Lead for a large UK bank
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to drive the successful implementation of complex programme for a large UK bank. You will oversee the execution of multiple concurrent workstreams, coordinate delivery teams of :30 people, and ensure strategic alignment between SAP Fioneer's objectives and those of our customers.
This role requires a confident, people-focused leader with a strategic mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a strong background in banking technology. As we continue our growth journey in the UK, this role is a critical part of building long-term client success and expanding SAP Fioneer's presence in the financial sector.
The role is based in London, UK.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute programme-level strategies that align with customer goals and SAP Fioneer's broader objectives Project Coordination: Manage multiple delivery streams, maintaining schedules, deliverables, and optimal resource allocation Stakeholder Management: Serve as the central contact for internal and external stakeholders; ensure transparent communication and drive customer satisfaction Risk & Change Management: Identify risks early and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Adapt programme scope and activities as needed while maintaining stability and progress Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, control expenses, and optimise resource utilisation Team Leadership: Inspire, develop, and lead a diverse delivery team of around 30 people. Promote high performance, ownership, and collaboration Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, generate status reports, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Growth Enablement: Recognise and act on opportunities to expand SAP Fioneer's footprint through value-added solutions and services

Requirements
8-10+ years of experience in programme or project delivery, with proven success in complex, multi-stakeholder environments Strong leadership background, with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing delivery teams Excellent client relationship skills, with the ability to build trust and act as a strategic partner Deep knowledge of banking technology, ideally SAP Fioneer solutions or comparable industry platforms Familiarity with banking domains such as payments, transactional banking, core banking, deposits, or broader systems Fluency in programme management methodologies, tools, and delivery best practices Strong commercial acumen, including budget responsibility and growth identification Outstanding communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
