Delivery Lead
Fully remote, global. Any time zone. Fluent English required.
Conquer AI deploys production-ready AI systems for FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 clients. We're scaling fast. Multiple programmes run at once, and someone has to keep each one on track while the client only ever sees the parts that go smoothly.
The reality of this role
This isn't status updates and a Gantt chart. You're the connective tissue between engineering, the client and our own leadership, and if any one of those groups is out of sync, it's your problem before it's anyone else's. You'll turn a client's business need into requirements the engineering team can actually build against. You'll spot a risk before it becomes a missed milestone, not after. You'll keep senior leadership genuinely informed, not just reassured.
What you'll own
- Day-to-day delivery of live client AI programmes, end to end
- Programme planning, milestone tracking and resource alignment
- Risk identification and escalation, with a mitigation plan already in hand
- Governance, reporting and stakeholder communication that holds up under scrutiny
- Translation between client business needs and engineering requirements
- The relationship with client stakeholders below board level, day to day

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
