Delivery Lead – Pega UK (HMRC Project)

About the Role

Pega UK is looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering innovative, automated solutions for HMRC’s critical digital transformation project. This role will focus on leveraging Pega’s cutting-edge technology to deliver intelligent automation and case management solutions to improve public services for millions of citizens.

As a Delivery Lead, you’ll oversee delivery teams, manage stakeholder engagement, and ensure the successful implementation of Pega’s solutions while aligning with HMRC’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Manage agile teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders at HMRC, Pega, and partner organizations.
  • Drive agile delivery practices, including facilitating ceremonies, resolving blockers, and coaching teams.
  • Ensure compliance with GDS standards and government project governance.
  • Oversee operational planning, risk management, and change management activities.
  • Deliver progress reports and metrics to key stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in delivery management, project management, or agile leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the Pega platform (e.g., Pega PRPC, Pega 8.x).
  • Experience delivering public sector/government projects (e.g., HMRC, DWP, etc.).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Pega-specific tools.
  • Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe, or similar) are a plus.
  • Candidates must meet UK residency and security clearance requirements.
