Delivery Lead
Delivery Lead / Senior Project Manager - Enterprise Business Transformation Programme
Hybrid working with multiple UK locations | Competitive day rates and potentially long-term contracts
Programme Context
We're looking for experienced Delivery Leads to support a major enterprise transformation programme across multiple business and technology functions.
Working across business-critical portfolios, you will provide structured delivery leadership across multidisciplinary teams, including technology, operations, and business stakeholders.
This role is ideal for experienced Project/ Programme Managers who have transitioned into Agile delivery and can seamlessly blend traditional programme management with modern Agile practices.
You will play a key role in:
- Maintaining delivery momentum
- Managing governance
- Ensuring complex initiatives remain on track against demanding timelines
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery across complex cross-functional workstreams
- Manage multidisciplinary teams including Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Business stakeholders
- Produce high-quality programme reporting (status updates, delivery plans, RAID logs)
- Own planning, scheduling, governance, and financial tracking
- Manage programme risks, issues, dependencies, and critical path activities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives)
- Support PI Planning activities within a scaled Agile environment
- Coordinate change governance, release planning, and implementation activities
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business and technology
- Ensure delivery objectives are met while maintaining programme governance standards

Mandatory Requirements
- Significant experience as a Senior Project Manager / Delivery Lead in large enterprise organisations
- Strong background in delivering technology-enabled business change
- Experience operating in Agile delivery environments while retaining traditional project management disciplines
- Demonstrable experience leading large cross-functional delivery teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Strong governance experience (planning, RAID management, financial reporting, programme controls)
- Experience delivering in regulated industries (e.g., Financial Services, Insurance, or Wealth Management)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving delivery environments

Nice to Have Requirements
- Banking sector experience
- Enterprise integration or migration programme experience
- SAFe or Scrum certification
- Experience working alongside Information Security and Risk functions
- Knowledge of change governance and release management processes
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation portfolios
